Webster is one of the more outspoken characters of the movement, giving him a somewhat 'fringe' appearance.
He has allegedly also been ascociated with Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. Which may also contribute to scepticism.

Webster Griffin Tarpley is a historian. He is best known for his 1992 book on George H.W. Bush, and is called an activist by Amazon.com.
